Yep, that is what we call feet that look this bad! I guess I better start putting shoes on this kid!

They grew them and we picked them
And they were delicious! We spent a few hours at the Murray Family Farm on Saturday where we enjoyed a free pancake breakfast, took a hayride tour of the farm, visited the petting zoo and picked the most tasty strawberries ever. We had a great time and sadly we have eaten just about all of them in two days. Mmm!

Bumbleberry
According to Grandpa, bumbleberries are burple and binkel berries that grow on giggle bushes, so named because they giggle when the berries ripen and the bush begins to quake, and at the precise moment that they ripen, they giggle. If you were to eat a berry while it was giggling, you would spend the rest of your life giggling.
If you haven’t visited here then you just might want to!

1!
Maddox has turned 1! I can officially say that my baby has turned 1. When did this happen? It seems like he is only 4 months old. Oh Maddy, don’t go growin’ up on me like that.
Our Maddox has been a great addition to our family. He is so much fun. He is such a good boy. Really he is. He never fusses (unless his older brothers are using him as a rag doll to toss around), rarely cries or makes much noise which is nice while driving around in a car full of other loud kids.
His smile and eyes keep me mesmerized and I just can’t get enough of him. I miss him when he sleeps and can’t wait to hug and hold him when he lets me.
To celebrate, we had a small party with some family and friends in honor of the birthday boy. A party full of fun, food, games, excitement, laughter and a lot of color. It was a great night!
So let’s hear it for our boy!

How does the saying go?
You can dig yourself in to a hole? Or you can’t dig yourself out of a hole? Either way this sure did apply to Walker on Saturday.
The kids were all outside playing in the backyard. I was inside resting and dad was on the computer. Then Abby comes in saying Walker needs help. She heard some whimpering and found that he was stuck. She tried to explain how he was stuck behind the gate. She tried to pull on the gate but it wouldn’t open. We thought he went on the other side of the gate and they couldn’t open it up to let him back in to the yard.
Cordell goes out and then comes and gets me. He said I have to see this and he grabs the camera. Good thinking! I guess Walker thought he could dig his way out of the backyard through the gate and then well……
Poor kid. He must have scared the pee out of himself. Is it fair enough to say he’s going to hate me in about 5 yrs for this?
